This black and white period comedy won the coveted "Audience" award at the 2006 inaugural Moonlight Shorts festival. The film also screened at The Big Mountain Film festival.

Written and directed by Geoff Talbot, Make Evelyn Smile is a smokey, seductive comedy with a twist, much in the style of a french farce with a touch of Woody Allen.
The film is shot on High Definition on location at Auckland's Bird cage corner bar and stars some of Auckland's finest acting talent. .. Michael Hallows, Toby Sharpe and Daniel Cowley play the three stooges, Anne Hely is riveting as the lovely Evelyn and Geoff Talbot is lucky in love as the hapless Chester.
The stunning cinematography is the work of Sean Rundle and the comic undertones of the film are brilliantly underscored by guitar sensation Sean Clancy.
